I remember when Demi Moore posed nude when I was pregnant with my first baby, who is now 20.  Big deal or who cares? But back to celebrity babies! SIDS: A Personal Story Mar 6th 2012, 18:20 I'm sitting here today remembering my nephew, Nathan. I got the news that Nathan had died overnight. It was SIDS - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Previously I had only heard of SIDS on TV in shows like Quincy or on the news. Nathan died in March 1992, it was just before the American Academy of Pediatrics published their "back to sleep" campaign starter in April 1992 to reduce the number of SIDS deaths. Thankfully it has worked for many parents as one of the ways to reduce the risk factors for SIDS. Do you know what the risk factors are and what you can do to help prevent SIDS in your family? One wants to know the sex of the baby - one doesn't... Mar 6th 2012, 09:16 So every time I'm pregnant, my husband and I try to decide if we'll find out the sex of the baby before the baby is born, usually at the regular mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Most of the time one of us wants to know and the other doesn't. Though we have both known, both not known and have had one know but not told the other... (How is that for variety?) I find out I'm not alone in this situation, that many parents feel split. Though you wouldn't guess it from the stories out there of everyone who always finds out, or at least that's the way it seems. (Kind of like all the high school kids are having sex.) So don't panic if you're having trouble deciding what's right for your family.
