8 Reasons People Don't Hire Doulas May 3rd 2013, 12:19 May is International Doula Month, so I thought I'd spend some time talking about doulas. I think that in general, the knowledge of what a doula is and what a doula does has gone up dramatically in recent years. So, instead, I thought I'd talk about reasons why women don't hire doulas.
