When you have a baby, you often don't think about the new baby as a gift giving event for most part, but it's a great way to celebrate the older child as becoming an older brother or sister. The problem is, there are good presents to give, and not so great presents to give. Here is a quick list of what you shouldn't give:
- Noisy toys (drum, toy guitar, electronic toy with no shut off, etc.)
- Things that take parental supervision
- Things that are hazardous to the new baby
That may sound like its about everything possible, though the truth is there are several things you can give that are not only fun for the child, but are safe for the new baby. Here's my list of gifts to give a new sibling. What would you add?
