I will admit that I was only a bit surprised to hear that someone had named their baby Facebook. So it wasn't to terribly surprising that Twitter is also a name. (Personally as baby names go, I have to admit, I think Twitter has more possibilities as a baby name.) At least one of the babies named Facebook has a story behind it, her Egyptian father says it's to honor the role that social media played in the Arab Spring. There are also babies named Google and Hashtag.
So, let's not pick on baby names. But let's explore the name possibilities from social media:
- Pinterest (nickname Pinny)
- LinkIn (nickname Link)
- Reddit (nickname Red)
