
Blessingways are not a new idea but one that is being reinvented in modern times as a positive and uplifting version for expectant mothers. (Sometimes you might hear them called Mother Blessings.) The problem for some people who want to experience a blessingway is that they don't even know where to start when it comes to planning.
I've been fortunate enough to plan, attend and be the guest of honor at several blessingways. So I thought it would be helpful to talk about some general ideas of the types of things that can happen at a blessingway and why its done and what it means. I've also added some helpful tips from things I've learned along the way.
