Don't Dumpster Dive for Pregnancy Tests Dec 28th 2011, 09:17 No, this isn't dumpster diving in the "traditional" sense of the word - this is where you go after the pregnancy test you took last night and threw away and now want to read it again.  After the time limit has expired... only last night's negative is this morning's positive?  No, it's typically nothing but an evaporation line.  This is why the instructions on the pregnancy test, even the early pregnancy test, says don't read this pregnancy tests after so many minutes. This only confuses you and messes with your mind!  I won't say I know from experience, but...
